The University of South Florida's new $210 million football stadium and operations center on the Tampa campus is under construction with an opening planned for September 2027.
Construction is advancing on the University of South Florida's (USF) new football stadium and football operations center in Tampa, with more than $210 million in contracts awarded to Florida-based companies. Approximately $155 million of this work has been secured by firms within the Greater Tampa Bay region. The project, which is on track for a September 4, 2027, completion, has seen nearly 376,000 labor hours logged and the installation of 5,000 tons of structural steel to date.
The development features a 35,000-seat venue, including an 8,000-seat student section and various hospitality areas, such as an East Field Club and a rooftop bar. Additionally, the complex houses the 150,000-square-foot Tampa General Hospital Center for Athletic Excellence, which will provide space for sports medicine, team operations, and training facilities. Crews are currently maintaining a high-intensity work schedule as the stadium begins to take shape on campus.
