The Marion County School Board has officially moved to advance the renovation of Booster Stadium. During a May 21 work session, board members reached a consensus to begin planning the project, which carries an estimated price tag of $25 million. Staff have been directed to prepare necessary interlocal agreements and outline a capital campaign to support the development; however, the board did not yet issue formal approval for the total expenditure.
