The Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) has officially signed a lease for its new headquarters at the Bank of America Tower at Parkside in Dallas. The future Texas Market Center is planned to include executive offices, a business museum, and a dedicated broadcast studio. While the lease is finalized, the agreement includes exit provisions contingent on specific conditions, most notably the approval of a 10-foot-tall, 2,470-square-foot electronic ticker sign on the exterior of the building. The Oak Lawn Committee has already expressed support for the sign, which would be positioned 28 feet above ground level.
Backed by $275 million in investments from entities including Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, and Citadel Securities, the exchange aims to compete directly with the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. The tower itself is slated to reach 445 feet upon completion, standing as the tallest building in the Uptown neighborhood.
