The Texas Stock Exchange and Texas Capital Bank are seeking city approval to install digital stock ticker displays at their respective Dallas office towers.
The Oak Lawn Committee has voted to support requests from the Texas Stock Exchange and Texas Capital Bank to install external electronic stock tickers at their buildings in Dallas. The Texas Stock Exchange, which has signed a lease at the under-construction Bank of America Tower at Parkside, is seeking a 2,470-square-foot digital display that would wrap around the building corner, positioned 28 feet above ground level. Texas Capital Bank has also proposed a ticker for the Texas Capital Center tower, located at 2000 McKinney Ave., aiming to install a 3-foot-tall display that would replace an existing canopy.
The proposals require sign-off from the city's planning and zoning body, as current codes prohibit the continuous scrolling displays desired by the tenants. The Bank of America Tower at Parkside is expected to top out in June with a targeted completion date in March 2027. Anchor tenant Bank of America will occupy more than 238,000 square feet in the new high-rise, while the Texas Capital Center was acquired by Crescent Real Estate in late 2025 for just under $300 million.
