Green Bay-based Ostrenga Excavating Inc. has officially been certified as a Woman Owned Business Enterprise by the State of Wisconsin. The certification follows a structural shift in the company's leadership team that began in late 2020, during which former president Roger Ostrenga transitioned to chairman of the board and Melissa Kennin, a 25-year veteran of the firm, was appointed president.
Majority owner Winnie Ostrenga, who co-founded the firm 30 years ago, now serves as vice-president of the board, while Rebecca Ostrenga-Ruffell continues her role as secretary/treasurer.
