JPMorgan Chase has provided a $400 million single-bank loan to Dallas-based developer KDC to support the construction of AT&T's new global headquarters in Plano. The project, located on a 54-acre site in Collin County, is valued at more than $1 billion and requires a minimum of $1.35 billion in construction costs per a Chapter 380 incentive agreement with the city.
The development will feature approximately 2.3 million square feet of space, including an eight-story office building, a daycare center, parking structures, and a 280-foot landmark tower. AT&T, which is relocating from downtown Dallas, is targeting partial occupancy of the new campus by the second half of 2028. The firm is contractually obligated to build at least 2 million square feet of office, amenity, and retail space and maintain a workforce of 10,000 employees at the site for 25 years.
