Semiconductor supplier Hanyang Eng USA is preparing to expand its Austin footprint with a new 62,435-square-foot manufacturing and office building. The project, located on a 7-acre tract off Harris Branch Parkway in Northeast Austin, represents a $14 million investment for the firm. Hanyang, a subsidiary of South Korean-based Hanyang ENG Co. Ltd., has owned the development site since 2019.
Construction is slated to begin in July, with an anticipated completion date in May 2027. The facility will be situated approximately two miles east of Samsung’s existing Austin chipmaking plant. While Hanyang relocated its U.S. headquarters to Cedar Park in 2023, the firm has maintained an operational presence in the Austin area for nearly two decades.
