Austin-based defense startup Aeon Industrial is relocating its headquarters and manufacturing operations to a new 48,000-square-foot facility in Cedar Park. The project, which represents a total investment of $8.5 million, is slated for a site next to Firefly Aerospace. The company expects to move into the new location by fall 2026.
Cedar Park City Council is reviewing an economic development agreement that would provide the firm with up to $1.5 million in incentives in exchange for the creation of 135 jobs by the end of 2028. Aeon Industrial, which produces autonomous weapon and missile tracking systems, aims to scale production to meet rising demand.
