Sunbelt Rentals plans to expand its Grapevine site by 5.13 acres to increase heavy machinery and equipment storage capacity.
Sunbelt Rentals is set to expand its existing facility along Texan Trail in Grapevine, Texas, after the Grapevine City Council unanimously approved a conditional-use permit and rezoning request for an adjacent 5.13-acre tract. The land, formerly used as an oil and gas drilling site by Chesapeake Energy, will be integrated into the company’s current 22.32-acre property to accommodate increased storage and display of heavy equipment and machinery.
The expansion project also includes the installation of six electric vehicle charging stations and the dedication of seven parking spaces for those chargers. This site currently serves as a regional headquarters and training center for Sunbelt Rentals, with the initial phase of the development having been approved in 2023.
