The 33-story Forme luxury tower is now complete in Houston's Museum District, pivoting from a troubled coliving project into a hospitality-driven residential hub.
Forme, a 33-story high-rise located at 5501 La Branch Street, has officially opened in Houston’s Museum District following a 2024 financial rescue. Formerly known as X Houston, the project sat partially finished for over a year after initial financing stalled. The property has been rebranded and now operates under a hospitality-oriented model managed by Sentral, featuring a blend of apartments, hotel rooms, and coworking space.
The development emphasizes communal living and programming, offering 60,000 square feet of amenities including a 20,000-square-foot fitness center and a 9,000-square-foot outdoor pool terrace. The coworking floor is operated by Regus under a management agreement, providing space for both residents and the public. Rental rates at the tower range from $1,750 for studios to $5,600 for three-bedroom units, with individual coliving-style rooms priced between $1,700 and $1,850.
