Beck Ventures Moves Forward With $4B Dallas Midtown Redevelopment Project

Beck Ventures advances the $4B Dallas Midtown redevelopment at the former Valley View Center site, attracting interest from the Dallas Mavericks for a potential new arena.

By Colin Percy · May 27, 2026

Beck Ventures is spearheading the transformation of the former Valley View Center in Dallas into Dallas Midtown, a $4 billion mixed-use district. The large-scale redevelopment is planned to feature a mix of luxury residential units, premier retail space, Class A office buildings, public parks, and entertainment venues.

The project has reportedly drawn significant interest from the Dallas Mavericks as a potential site for a new state-of-the-art arena. This development is being led by Scott Beck, who also serves as the Chairman and CEO of United Texas Bank, which recently achieved a successful national charter conversion under the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
