Tel Aviv-based Flytrex Aviation has opened an 8,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in the north Dallas suburb of Pilot Point. The new plant is designed to produce approximately 1,000 delivery drones per year and supports the company’s plans to grow its local team from 20 to 50 employees.
Flytrex currently operates delivery sites in Wylie, Little Elm, and Granbury, with intentions to scale to 60 total delivery hubs across the DFW Metroplex by 2027. The company, which counts DoorDash and Little Caesars among its partners, is leveraging the Dallas-Fort Worth area as a key proving ground for drone delivery operations as the Federal Aviation Administration continues to develop national regulatory frameworks for the sector.
