Etude Storage Capital has acquired a two-property self-storage portfolio located in Chicago, totaling 2,043 units and 150,216 square feet. The properties are situated within the Lincoln Park/Bucktown and Wrigleyville/Lakeview neighborhoods.
Cushman & Wakefield and JLL brokered the transaction on behalf of the seller, Self Storage 1. The investment offers the buyer immediate scale and operational efficiencies, with further value-add potential identified through rental rate optimization, unit mix refinements, and continued lease-up efforts.
