Bristol Myers Squibb is considering a $1 billion pharmaceutical manufacturing campus at Generation Park that would span approximately 600,000 square feet.
Bristol Myers Squibb has filed a tax incentive application for a proposed $1 billion drug manufacturing campus at the Generation Park master-planned development in Houston. The project, which is currently in the planning stage, is slated to feature an initial 600,000 square feet of space and modular, expandable architecture designed to accommodate future growth. If the project proceeds, construction is expected to begin in 2027, with operations scheduled to commence by 2030.
The development is expected to generate approximately 490 jobs, including positions in production, engineering, and maintenance. Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a 10-year tax abatement through the Texas Jobs, Energy, Technology and Innovation program as it researches potential sites for domestic manufacturing investment. The site selection at Generation Park follows significant life science activity in the area, including a major investment by Eli Lilly and Company.
