Pender County is set to celebrate the completion of its new Health and Human Services building with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Thursday, May 28, at 10 a.m. Located at 298 Progress Drive in Burgaw, the multi-story facility spans 89,000 square feet and represents a $40.5-million investment in local infrastructure. The project was originally announced in 2022 and will be open for public tours following the celebration.
