Entrepreneur Milly Lorden is opening her first Milly’s Bagels storefront in Denver’s West Wash Park neighborhood after signing a two-year lease for a 200-square-foot space.
Milly Lorden is opening her first brick-and-mortar location for Milly's Bagels at 712½ S. Pearl St. in Denver’s West Wash Park neighborhood. The founder, who previously sold bagels from her home and at farmers markets, signed a two-year lease for the 200-square-foot space, which formerly housed an ice cream shop.
Due to the limited footprint, the storefront will not offer indoor seating, though customers will be able to utilize a back patio that can accommodate 30 to 40 people. Production will take place at a separate commissary kitchen, with Lorden planning to hire approximately five staff members for the new location.
