A renovation permit has been issued for the conversion of a 1920s-era church building located at 2625 N. Talman into a residential complex known as Talman Lofts. Planned by developer Mo2 Properties and designed by SPACE Architects + Planners, the project will transform the former Bethel International Full Gospel Korean Church into 16 apartment units. The unit mix consists of six one-bedroom, eight two-bedroom, and two three-bedroom apartments, featuring duplex lofts and double-height living spaces. Three of these units are designated as affordable housing to meet ARO requirements.

Unit sizes range from 580 to 1,380 square feet, with monthly rents projected between $2,000 and $3,200. The development will include bike parking in the basement, but no vehicle parking is planned. General contractor H&S Remodeling Inc is set to lead the 12-to-16-month buildout following the previous issuance of an interior demolition permit.
