Greystar and Haseko North America have commenced construction on 100 West, a 189-unit multifamily development located at 100 West St. in Needham, Massachusetts. The project, which is being built to Passive House energy efficiency standards, is one of the first to proceed under the town’s zoning established by the MBTA Communities Act.
The development will occupy the site of a former assisted living facility and includes 24 affordable housing units alongside market-rate apartments ranging from studios to three-bedroom layouts. Situated adjacent to the Needham Heights Commuter Rail station, the project features ground-level direct-entry units and new green space along Highland Ave. Completion and move-ins are anticipated for Summer 2027.
