DND Homes plans to file for a 143-unit apartment building in Brighton Center, replacing a previously approved 44-unit proposal on Dighton Street.
Burlington-based developer DND Homes has submitted a letter of intent to the Boston Planning Department for a new residential project located at 25, 29, and 37 Dighton St. in Brighton Center. The proposed six-story building will feature 143 apartment units, including a mix of studios and one- to two-bedroom apartments, with approximately 24 units designated as affordable housing. This project replaces a previous four-story, 44-unit proposal that received approval in 2023 but was never constructed.
The development emphasizes resident amenities, dedicating the entire sixth floor to a gym, clubhouse, meeting rooms, modular office pods, and a lounge with a coffee bar. Additional features include outdoor grilling stations and landscaped seating. The site, which DND acquired for $6 million in 2020, is designed as a transit-oriented development with 30 parking spaces and storage for 153 bicycles.
