Frisco City Council approves a $113.4 million development agreement to advance construction of The Mix, a $3 billion, 112-acre mixed-use project.
The Frisco City Council has approved a master development agreement for The Mix, a 112-acre mixed-use site located at the corner of Lebanon Road and Dallas Parkway. The project, formerly known as Wade Park, is slated for $3 billion in investment and will feature two million square feet of Class A office space, 375,000 square feet of retail, two hotels, and a mix of townhomes and urban living units. Phase 1 plans include over 16 acres of open space, a 2,250-space underground parking garage, and significant property remediation.
The city, along with the Frisco Economic Development Corporation and the Frisco Community Development Corporation, will provide up to $113.4 million in performance-based grants. These incentives are tied to specific development milestones, including the completion of 114,000 square feet of medical office space, a 40,000-square-foot upscale grocery store, and 630 residential units. Construction is expected to accelerate following this approval, with the developer, The Mix Partners, required to deliver the underground parking garage before incentive payments are disbursed.
