Extell Development and Reef Capital Partners are advancing the multi-phase Deer Valley East Village, a 1,700-unit alpine village in Park City.
Deer Valley East Village is currently under construction in Park City, Utah, representing the first major alpine ski village development in North America in over 40 years. Developed by Extell Development Company and Reef Capital Partners, the project is situated above the Jordanelle Reservoir near the expanded Deer Valley Resort. The master plan includes over 1,700 residential units and multiple high-end hotel components, with full buildout expected by 2030.
Individual projects within the village are hitting various construction milestones. The 180-room Canopy by Hilton is slated for a late July opening, while the Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences—featuring 134 rooms and 123 residences—is targeting a 2027/2028 debut. Additional projects include the Cormont at Deer Valley, which is currently under construction, and the 105-unit Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley, which is expected to open for the 2028/2029 ski season. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is already operational and has launched a year-round event calendar for the community.
