Wood Partners has broken ground on Alta Newnan Crossing, a 274-unit multifamily community in Newnan, Georgia, slated for completion in fall 2027.
Atlanta-based developer Wood Partners has commenced construction on Alta Newnan Crossing, an 11-acre mixed-use project located at 521 Newnan Crossing Bypass in Newnan. The development is situated just west of Interstate 85 and is designed to address local housing demand with a mix of 274 apartments and seven townhomes, supported by 7,700 square feet of retail space. Amenities at the site will include a resort-grade pool, coworking spaces, a clubhouse, and direct access to the LINC Trail multi-use system.
The project, designed by Geheber Lewis Architects, is scheduled for delivery in the fall of 2027. The residential units will range from one to three bedrooms, with the townhome component offering three-bedroom, two-bathroom floor plans equipped with two-car garages. This venture follows the success of the developer's previous Newnan project, Alta Ashley Park, which delivered 269 units in 2023.
