Roswell City Council votes to terminate a master services agreement with consultant Seer World following years of resident criticism regarding transparency.
The Roswell City Council voted on Monday to end its master services agreement with consulting firm Seer World LLC. The decision follows prolonged scrutiny from residents, who alleged a lack of transparency regarding the city's economic development initiatives and the firm's selection process. The city had previously approved payments of up to $2 million annually to the firm through 2029, with community groups estimating total expenditures at nearly $3 million. While council members Sarah Beeson, Jennifer Phillippi, Eren Brumley, and Chris Zack voted to terminate the contract, members Allen Sells and Christine Hall opposed the measure, citing the firm's role in attracting companies like PBS Aerospace to the city.
