Wilks Development celebrates the groundbreaking of the 217-acre Firefly Park in Frisco, featuring an initial phase of 120,000 square feet of retail and 170,000 square feet of office space.
Wilks Development, alongside Frisco city officials and community leaders, held a formal groundbreaking ceremony on May 28 for the massive 217-acre Firefly Park development located along the Dallas North Tollway. The project is being delivered in three phases, with the initial phase set to include 120,000 square feet of retail space, 170,000 square feet of Class A office, a 177-room boutique hotel named Hotel Voeux, 230 luxury townhomes, and 420 combined high-rise and mid-rise residential units. A 45-acre park serves as the development's centerpiece.
The initial phase is scheduled for completion by late 2027. Future construction on the hotel and townhomes is slated to begin in August with an early 2028 finish, while office space construction is expected to commence later this year with an anticipated availability in October 2027. At full build-out, the project is planned to span 3 million square feet of office space, 400,000 square feet of retail and entertainment, 1,200 hotel rooms, and nearly 2,000 total residential units.
