West-MEC Launching Massive Technical Education Campus Near Loop 101 and Thomas Road

West-MEC is opening its largest career and technical education campus to date near Thomas Road and Loop 101 in Phoenix, Arizona this July 2026.

West-MEC is set to open its new Southeast Campus this July 2026, marking a major expansion for the district within a high-growth corridor near Thomas Road and Loop 101. As the organization's largest facility, the campus aims to address regional workforce demands by offering specialized programs in fields including Advanced Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, IT Security, Medical Assisting, Physical Therapy, and Welding Technology.

The project was developed in collaboration with key industry partners such as TSMC, Amkor, Banner Health, Rummel Construction, Pueblo Modigent, and VIA Resort. Designed for high school juniors and seniors, the campus emphasizes hands-on training to prepare graduates for immediate entry into the workforce and high-demand technical sectors.
