Universal Kids Resort, a 20-acre theme park and entertainment destination located in Frisco, is scheduled to host its grand opening on July 1, 2026. Designed specifically for children ages 3 to 11, the property includes a 300-room hotel with various suite configurations that can accommodate up to five guests, with bookings available starting June 30.

The project has been a significant driver of local economic activity, generating more than 4,600 construction jobs, with 60% of those roles filled by workers from the North Texas area. The park features interactive play areas and themed lands based on popular franchises such as Shrek, Jurassic World, and SpongeBob SquarePants.
