Prime Data Centers has broken ground on three 267,000-square-foot buildings at its $3 billion, 1.3 million-square-foot PHX01 campus in Avondale.
Dallas-based Prime Data Centers has officially commenced construction on the first three facilities of PHX01, a massive five-building data center development located on a 66.5-acre site in Avondale, Arizona. Situated approximately 19 miles west of Phoenix, the project represents a $3 billion long-term investment into the region's digital infrastructure.
Each of the three initial buildings under construction will feature 267,000 square feet of space and 48 megawatts of critical IT load capacity. The total project will span 1.3 million square feet upon full completion, providing a total of 240 megawatts of critical power. An undisclosed hyperscale tenant has already pre-leased the first three buildings, while Prime Data Centers is actively marketing the remaining two buildings in the campus to prospective hyperscale users.
