The Greenville Area Development Corporation (GADC) successfully secured $725 million in new investments in 2025, a performance that accounted for 8% of South Carolina's total annual capital investment and 16% of the state's new job creation. These initiatives brought 1,293 jobs to the region, driven by nine key organizational wins—including both new market entrants and expansions of existing local companies—spanning sectors such as advanced manufacturing, life sciences, and technology services.
Major projects highlighted in the 2025 report include Isuzu North America’s $280 million investment to establish a 1-million-square-foot US assembly plant, GE Vernova’s $200 million manufacturing boost, and a $130 million expansion of the local DartPoints data center. Other notable investments include a $50 million facility for Safe Industries, a $28 million expansion by Vermeer Corporation, a $20 million medical supply expansion by Span-America Medical Systems, and a $4 million expansion by Aran USA, alongside KADIA USA’s relocation of its corporate headquarters to the county.
