NIBCO has officially opened the Rex Martin NIBCO Interactive Museum in Elkhart, Indiana, marking the company’s 120th anniversary. The project involved the adaptive reuse of a 1958-era building, which previously housed an American Red Cross office. Led by project manager Steve Yaw and director of marketing communications Sally Boyer, the fast-tracked renovation updated the entire structure, including the installation of a new metal roof, high-efficiency HVAC systems, and a building automation system integrated with the company's corporate headquarters. The facility features a 3,254-square-foot interactive museum area, an 1,100-square-foot training center, and a 715-square-foot archive space housing roughly 7,500 artifacts.

General contractor Ancon Construction Company managed the physical transformation, which included structural interior modifications, the installation of copper-themed awnings, and extensive utility upgrades using NIBCO's own plumbing and flow-control products. The design team collaborated with fabricator WRX to curate approximately 530 display artifacts and interactive exhibits, such as the "Plumbing Discovery House" and various manufacturing-focused displays. The museum officially opened to the public on November 12, 2024.
