Hoosier Solar donates $100,000 to the La Porte County Fairground Management and Event Corporation to fund capital infrastructure upgrades and building renovations.
Hoosier Solar has announced a $100,000 donation to the La Porte County Fairground Management and Event Corporation (FMEC) to support ongoing capital projects at the La Porte County Fairgrounds. The funds will be directed toward infrastructure improvements and facility renovations as part of a broader master plan aimed at revitalizing the site and enhancing its utility as a regional destination for year-round community events, trade shows, and indoor markets.
In addition to physical upgrades, the investment is intended to benefit the local 4-H program by providing modern, functional spaces for youth activities and life-skills development. This contribution follows previous agricultural-focused investments by Hoosier Solar, including the reconstruction of a swine barn at the Starke County fairgrounds.
