Specialty coffee roaster Modcup has officially opened its newest location at 360 Communipaw Avenue in Jersey City’s Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood. This marks the brand's fourth outpost, adding to a retail footprint that includes locations in The Heights, Senate Place, and Hoboken. The company also maintains a roastery and a significant online retail presence.
The business, which began in 2013 as a mobile cart operation, continues to expand its footprint in the region. Plans are also underway for a new, larger flagship cafe and roastery to be located within the Everton development in Downtown Jersey City.
