A proposed seven-story apartment building is set to replace an existing single-family home located just west of the Fox Studios Lot in Century City. Filed with the Los Angeles Department of City Planning, the project by applicant Mehrzad Shirani Lapari calls for 17 residential units ranging from one- to three-bedroom layouts, supported by parking for six vehicles.
The development is seeking mixed-income housing incentives to allow for increased density beyond current zoning limitations. In return for these entitlements, two of the planned apartments will be reserved as affordable units. Architectural firm California Development & Design Inc. has provided renderings for the podium-style structure.
