Kesseböhmer completes the first phase of its $29 million consolidated U.S. headquarters in Wilmington, featuring a 93,000-square-foot facility.
Metalworks firm Kesseböhmer has finished Phase 1 of its consolidated U.S. headquarters, a $29 million development located off U.S. Highway 421 in New Hanover County. The 93,000-square-foot facility replaces the company's former downtown Wilmington office and Leland warehouse, allowing for the integration of custom metal fabrication lines and a new powder coating system. The company, which employs 33 people with plans to expand to 45 by 2026, partnered with McKinley Building Corporation to deliver the project.
Operations at the new site are currently underway, with future growth already on the horizon. The firm has designated the development as "Project Stout" and is actively planning a second phase to support its North American business expansion.
