Colorado’s Economic Development Commission has approved Job Growth Incentive Tax Credits for four expansion projects, representing over $45M in potential capital investment for projects like the 110k SF Bold facility.
The Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) approved incentive packages for four separate projects, dubbed Bold, Cobra, Onshore, and Tatra, aimed at bolstering state job growth and industrial expansion. These projects are currently in the planning stage, as the incentives are performance-based and contingent upon the companies ultimately selecting Colorado locations over competing states. Each proposal includes multi-year tax credits tied to net new job creation, ranging from 70 to 460 roles per project.
Project Bold, a manufacturing facility, accounts for $45M in planned capital investment across a 110,000-square-foot space in El Paso County. Meanwhile, Project Onshore seeks to establish an aerospace headquarters and integrated testing operation in Boulder County, promising over 400 direct high-tech jobs. Project Tatra, an HVAC and plumbing manufacturer, and Project Cobra, a precision electronics manufacturer, are also evaluating Colorado sites in Adams and Pueblo counties, respectively, to facilitate production expansion.
Bron Tapes Holdings is moving its Denver headquarters and manufacturing operations to a new 82,000-square-foot facility in South Denver.
