Lendlease and Aware Super have officially opened Habitat, a new mixed-use development located at 3411 S. La Cienega Boulevard in the Baldwin Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. The project features a 12-story residential tower offering 260 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 450 to 1,400 square feet, with monthly rents spanning from $2,800 to over $9,700. The development includes 22 deed-restricted very low-income units and 7 workforce housing units reserved for households earning up to 120 percent of the area median income.

In addition to the residential component, the site features a six-story, 253,000-square-foot office building complemented by 2,900 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The architectural team for the project was led by SHoP Architects, with contributions from Steinberg Hart, A+I, Kelly Wearstler, and landscape architect Relm.
