Larson-Danielson Breaks Ground on $80M Powers Health Outpatient Center in Munster

Construction is underway on a five-story outpatient center located at 802 MacArthur Blvd. on the Community Hospital campus in Munster, Indiana. The $80 million facility spans 125,724 square feet and is expected to open in early 2028. It will house various outpatient services including cardiac rehabilitation, imaging, infusion, neurology, and physical therapy, allowing the existing hospital to repurpose its current space for expanded inpatient care and private rooms.

This project represents the first phase of a larger expansion plan, with the total site footprint projected to reach approximately 440,000 square feet upon completion. Larson-Danielson Construction is serving as the general contractor, with architectural services provided by JMA Architects. The development is expected to generate over 200 construction jobs.
