Lafayette Place Apartments LLC files plans for a 40-unit residential complex at 4080 Lafayette Place in Culver City.
Lafayette Place Apartments LLC has submitted an application to Culver City to redevelop a corner site at 4076-4080 Lafayette Place, located near Downtown Culver City and Braddock Drive. The proposed project involves the construction of a six-story, podium-style apartment building featuring 40 residential units, comprised of one- and two-bedroom layouts, along with on-site parking for 43 vehicles.
The development team is seeking density bonus incentives to allow for a larger structure than current zoning typically permits, with an agreement to designate six units as affordable housing. Designed by JZA Architecture, the building will feature ground-floor and rooftop amenities, with a modern exterior design utilizing vertical louvers, setbacks, and varied materials to complement the surrounding area. The site was previously slated for a townhome development.
