Joby Aviation plans to build a 2 million-square-foot electric aircraft manufacturing facility at the Dayton International Airport in Ohio.
Joby Aviation has been recognized with the Aviation Impact award from Business Facilities Magazine for its plans to establish a large-scale manufacturing hub in Dayton, Ohio. The project is set to be located at the Dayton International Airport on a 140-acre site capable of supporting up to two million square feet of manufacturing space.
The proposed facility is designed to support the production of up to 500 electric aircraft annually and is expected to create as many as 2,000 new jobs for the region. The site layout provides significant capacity for future operational growth.
