Jamboree Housing Corporation is constructing The 101, a 52-unit affordable housing complex in Long Beach that is valued at over $40 million.
Wood framing is rising at 101 E. Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach for The 101, a new affordable housing project developed by Jamboree Housing Corporation. The five-story, podium-style building will offer 52 one- and two-bedroom apartments reserved for renters earning up to 30 percent of the area median income. The project, which includes a community room, on-site staff offices, and an outdoor amenity area, also features parking for 20 vehicles.
Designed by Y&M Architects, the development is financed through a mix of state, local, and private capital sources totaling more than $40 million. The site is situated just east of the A Line light rail station, aligning with the developer’s focus on transit-oriented affordable housing projects.
