FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics has officially opened its new 175,000-square-foot headquarters and manufacturing facility in Madison, Wisconsin. The project serves as a key component of a $200 million strategic investment by parent company FUJIFILM to expand the development of human-induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).
The new facility features state-of-the-art cell culture and process development laboratories, alongside a center of excellence for gene editing. By quadrupling the company's research product and manufacturing capacity, the site is designed to meet growing demand from global pharmaceutical partners and research institutions while solidifying Madison's role in the biohealth and biotechnology sector.
