Meta House nears completion on its $35 million, 100-bed recovery campus in Milwaukee, recently opening the facility's three-story outpatient wing.
Construction is entering its final stages at Meta House’s new $35 million recovery campus located at 535 N. 39th St. in Milwaukee. The project, known as Project Horizon, includes a recently opened three-story outpatient wing and an adjacent four-story residential wing, the latter of which is slated for completion in August.
Designed to centralize operations and replace aging facilities in Riverwest, the campus will double Meta House's residential capacity to 100 beds. The facility emphasizes a non-institutional design, featuring smaller "neighborhoods" of 25 residents each, natural light, and accommodations for women recovering with their children. Full occupancy is projected for 2028 or 2029 as the organization scales its staffing and operations.
