Douglas Emmett files plans to convert a 247k SF Westwood office tower at 10900 Wilshire Blvd into 199 apartments alongside a new 124-unit building.
Douglas Emmett has filed an application with the City of Los Angeles to transform a 17-story, 247,000-square-foot office tower at 10900 Wilshire Boulevard into 199 residential units. The adaptive reuse project will preserve existing ground-floor commercial space while adding a new seven-story structure on the site of current above-grade parking, contributing an additional 124 apartments.
The development, designed by VTBS Architects, will feature a total of 416 parking spaces. Located near the recently opened Metro D Line extension, the project supports city housing goals aimed at addressing the high volume of underutilized office stock in Los Angeles.
