Multiple new restaurants including Upper West Market, Sargent, and Last Dance prepare for summer 2026 openings across Atlanta neighborhoods.

By Colin Percy · May 26, 2026

A wave of new restaurant openings is set to arrive in Atlanta throughout the summer of 2026, targeting several key neighborhoods and developments. Notable arrivals include Upper West Market in Underwood Hills, anchored by Hop City Beer & Wine and Chef Anne Quatrano’s Summerland cafe, and Sargent, a casual concept from the owners of Lucian Books & Wine opening soon on the Eastside Beltline. Other anticipated debuts include the chef-driven Last Dance in Avondale Estates, So. Fox in Virginia-Highland, Some Luck in Poncey-Highland, and the tasting-menu concept Heritage in Summerhill.

The city’s culinary scene continues to expand with additional projects slated for South Downtown and Centennial Yards, including The Irish Exit. Meanwhile, the Westside Paper development is set to welcome Omma, a new cocktail bar from the team behind MidCity. These openings come as the industry also looks forward to seasonal events and the upcoming World Cup festivities at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
