Unified Legacy plans to build a $125 million manufacturing facility in Bibb County to support the aerospace and defense sectors.
Metal fabrication and manufacturing firm Unified Legacy has announced plans to construct a $125 million facility in Bibb County, near Macon. The project aims to provide critical parts and components for the growing aerospace, defense, and data center industries. Upon completion, the facility is expected to employ 500 workers and will double the company's existing footprint and output within Georgia.
The development has been supported by a 10-year tax abatement agreement provided by the Macon-Bibb County Industrial Authority. Construction on the site, located along Barnes Ferry Road near Byron, is expected to begin in 2027.
