Trestle Studio and Sopris Capital acquired the 168-room Lakeway Resort & Spa in Lakeway, Texas, and plan a comprehensive renovation of the facility.
Trestle Studio has partnered with Sopris Capital to acquire the Lakeway Resort & Spa, a waterfront property situated on an 11-acre peninsula along Lake Travis in Travis County. Originally opened in 1963, the resort is slated for a modernization program to elevate its 168 guestrooms, spa, and club amenities.
The redevelopment project includes refreshing over 24,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space and introducing new, locally focused culinary concepts. The ownership group aims to reposition the property as a boutique destination that highlights its lakeside location and Texas Hill Country heritage.
