Construction is underway on the $117 million, 217-room Miyako hotel in Plano, which is expected to open in fall 2027.
Work has begun on the 12-story, 217-room Miyako hotel, located within Plano's Parks at Legacy campus. With the building slab now poured, the project is currently under construction by The Beck Group and is scheduled for a fall 2027 completion. The hotel marks the first Texas location for developer Kintetsu Enterprises and its third in the United States.
The hotel will feature a variety of amenities, including a Japanese restaurant, a bakery, rooftop and lobby bars, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and dedicated banquet and conference space. The project sits just south of the former JCPenney campus, which is currently undergoing a billion-dollar redevelopment into a mixed-use site.
