Small City Brewing Company breaks ground on a 4,700-square-foot brewery and taproom at 110 Lake Street in Ogdensburg, supported by $914,335 in state funding.
Small City Brewing Company has officially broken ground on the adaptive reuse of a 4,700-square-foot vacant building located at 110 Lake Street in Ogdensburg. The project, which is part of the revitalization of the city's Marina District, will feature a commercial-grade five-barrel brewing system, a 1,400-square-foot manufacturing hub, a retail taproom, and an event space. A 400-square-foot expansion will also be added to the north end of the property to house a grain room and storage facilities.
The redevelopment represents a total investment of nearly $1.4 million, with $914,335 provided through the Restore New York IX grant program. The facility is expected to be completed by the spring or summer of 2027. Once operational, the site will serve as a new craft beer production center and community gathering spot, marking a significant addition to the local tourism economy.
