Owner Rafi Bildner has opened a 64-seat Hilltown restaurant in Egremont after completing a gut renovation of the historic John Andrews Farmhouse.
Hilltown, a pizza restaurant formerly known as Hilltown Hot Pies, has officially opened in Egremont on Hillsdale Road. Owned by Rafi Bildner, the project involved a comprehensive renovation of the former John Andrews Farmhouse, which was purchased in 2023. Construction work began in late summer 2024, involving a complete gut of the structure down to its shell before the restaurant debuted in mid-October 2025.
The finished space features 64 seats for indoor dining, with additional capacity available when the patio is open. The menu focuses on sourdough-crust Neapolitan-style pizza alongside house-made gelato and fresh pasta, utilizing locally sourced ingredients from nearby Berkshire and Hudson Valley suppliers. Bildner continues to operate his original food trailer for off-site events and intends to incorporate an outdoor pizza garden on the property during peak seasons.
A new coffee shop will occupy a 933-square-foot space in Fields Corner, replacing an existing nail supply outlet.
