Publix acquired the 178,726-square-foot Fountains of Boynton Shopping Center in Boynton Beach for $78 million.
Publix has continued its strategy of acquiring its own retail locations by purchasing the 178,726-square-foot Fountains of Boynton shopping center for $78 million. Located at 6661 Boynton Beach Boulevard, the 21-acre open-air property features a 56,633-square-foot Publix supermarket alongside tenants including LA Fitness, MD Now Urgent Care, and various dining options. The seller, a partnership between Bolder Group and Union Investment Real Estate, previously bought the asset for $79.5 million in 2021.
This transaction follows a wider trend of the Lakeland-based grocer purchasing its leased real estate, with the company spending over $400 million on such acquisitions since 2024. Recent deals include the purchase of a 137,780-square-foot center in Boca Raton for $83 million and a $72 million retail acquisition near Kendall, as the chain seeks to control its footprint amid shifting market conditions.
