Springfield Crossing is expanding its tenant lineup at 1655 Boston Rd. in Springfield, Massachusetts, with the addition of several new national and local brands. Developed by Onyx Partners, the open-air power center is set to welcome a new Target location this summer, marking a major milestone for the site. Additional incoming tenants include Chase Bank, Playa Bowls, Be Young Day Spa, and Beyond Oishii.
The project represents the redevelopment of the former Eastfield Mall site, which was acquired in 2023. The center's initial phase launched in late 2025, anchored by a BJ’s Wholesale Club and gas station. Designed to serve more than 600,000 residents, the development aims to become a dominant retail destination along the Boston Rd. commercial corridor.
